Just hold down the mouse button, drag your guys off the screen, and you're invincible, like Barzona said.
To fix it you have to check to make sure the mouse coordinates are within the boundaries of the stage.

I'm glad I discovered that you can hold space to speed it up. Even with space it's too slow though. There needs to be a way to make it go much faster, and it needs to be clear.
You can also speed the game up from the pause menu if you did not find that already :)
Ha ha, brilliant storyline.
I love games where you get to carry stuff around like this.
It's called Small Town Detective and yet there are skyscrapers.
And if you're gonna loop some Wikipedia paragraphs for your newspaper, you should probably make it too small to read.
Would be much better if you could skip cutscenes. Or even if the back button took you to the last minigame instead of the last cutscene. And especially if it saved your progress.
Also, some of the rhymes are just painful.
Anyway, I use Chrome and didn't have any problem becoming a boy.
It.. does save your progress.
As long as you're logged in you will have your endings on any computer you play on, saved.
Holding the same direction on both the arrow keys and WASD will result in you not moving.
After the pelican room I walked off the left edge of the screen and fell into oblivion. The option to return to the main menu doesn't help because it doesn't save your progress for some reason.
Sorry, Jimp. Your programmer has failed you.
Went so high I was off the screen in space and my bullets wouldn't even enter the screen because they'd unspawn as soon as I shot them.
Pretty tricky, but I got through it without the walkthrough. There are so few clickable items that it's not that much trouble to just try everything on everything. And the moss seemed easy to find to me. I mean, the cursor does change when you roll over something you can click on.
How do I get past this wall? I know! I'll throw my child at it!
Yeah!
