Great game

But there's only one way to play this game and I don't see how it's even possible to beat it without completing every objective and getting every achievement. The first game was much more dynamic.

Nice game

It looks like each card has three names. There's the name when you view it in the equip screen, the name when you view it in the achivements screen, and the name that pops up just for a second when you unlock the card. For example, one card is called Lord of Shadow in the equip screen, The Demon in the achievements screen, and pops up as The End when you unlock it. They are almost always different. I wonder why.

I love games like this that parody the endlessly typical gaming world. I played it with the Japanese voices and it's hilarious.

Beautiful

The background reminds me of Dino Run, except not pixelated. In any case, it's beautiful.

The variety of collectables and the occasional Greco-Roman structure help make it less repetitive, but exploring cave after cave still gets a little old.

Not bad

The biggest "challenge" in the game is the lag. All those freakin' blur filters are killing my processor. It gets even worse when I turn invisibility on and add alpha to the mix. Then again, Newgrounds seems to make everything lag anyway, even animations. I'm sure that that over 90% of my deaths were directly preceded by lag.

And it's one thing for the controls to be intentionally made hard to use to add an extra challenge, but these controls just seem like a sloppy job.

Nice game, though. I still beat the high score mode.

I played this game a super long time ago, and now I've finally found it again! I guess this game is pretty legendary now. I actually managed to beat it this time around.

How to get past the pool in the cave glitch:
It only occurs after you click on the pool and try to move. If you throw the gelatin in the pool and then switch to Reemus, you can use Reemus to move Liam out of the way and avoid the glitch. Just click on the pool with Reemus, and click somewhere else immediately after Liam starts to move. That way, Reemus won't get stuck in the same place.

How to get the Passion of the Exterminator medal:
You basically have to complete both the Reemus task and the Liam task in the first area. Once Liam lets the Roach go, Reemus will still have the axe in the next area which he can use on the Roach.

I also encountered a glitch in the last Liam level, by the shore. When I tried to reset the level, the SWF warped so that it was half of its normal width, occupying the left half of the Flash window. I had limited interactivy, being able to switch characters and move a little but not being able to leave the screen or really do anything. Since I couldn't reset the level, I had to refresh the window and all my progress was lost.
