Well it seems to me like this is too much luck. Fuel is way too hard to find. But meh. Low chance of success doesn't make a bad game.
If I find a whole gas giant basically made of fuel for my ship, why does that only refuel my ship partially? How big can my tank possibly be?
As you mentioned fuel is hard to find so I decide to make fuel tank limitless.

The achievement popup blocks the action buttons.

It's not really much of a puzzle game. And it confuses tediousness with difficulty.
So you just crash land on an unknown planet and your first instinct is to start firing your gun randomly?
You go up against the entire planet's defensive forces and yet you take damage from running into traffic cones.
