Okay, it's a nice Madness-style animation of course. But if you were going for something like Stealing the Diamond, you screwed up with your checkpoint system. If we're supposed to see every outcome, why are the checkpoints so sparse? That makes us have to redo so many things after every death. On the other hand, if we're supposed to try to win, why are the outcomes so unpredictable? The game is completely unfair when viewed like that.

The boxes are so hard to click in time. I cheated by using the tab/space trick, and I was still dying all the time.

Also, it's often unclear just what choice the game thinks you made. Sometimes I think I clicked just in time when I actually didn't and then I die, so then I assume what I'm supposed to do is wait without clicking, and then I die the same way again.

You still say "fanny pack" in the UK?

So uncle Phil wants you to help him but doesn't give you the password to the toolbox? And you paid for a satellite dish to get delivered but they didn't even give you the combination to open the package? And not one person on the island will give you a dollar to call your freaking mother?

Checkpoints, please.

Zielak responds:

This game is too short to have checkpoints :D

Don't make us wait for him to walk all the way across a room.

Also, you should be able to combine items either way. If item A works on item B, then item B should work on item A.

I think I got pretty far, but I have to give up because there are just too few clues about what to do.

Finally had to give up on level 4 of the "jerk" puzzles. The controls are bullshit. I thought it was going to be consistent where you just press a direction and it goes that way after you finish your roll, knowing you can't change directions during a roll. But apparently you can change directions during a roll, so you don't even know what's gonna happen when you press a direction.

If you're gonna have a rhythm game, it really needs to be timed to the music.

Dustmasc responds:

It's not really intended to be a rhythm game. I did definitely take the timing component from rhythm games but deciding whether a pizza was good or not was meant to be the main component. Still, thanks for the review!

How many levels are there? As far as I can tell, they're randomly generated and go on forever.

I'd love to see something else made with this engine.

I only found the secrets on levels 3 and 6. Where's the third?

Primajin responds:

If I told you it would no longer be a secret :D

Nyaarg.
