So here I was, grinding away on dungeon level 1, trying to build my character up to level 12. I got all the way to level 10, and then suddenly I died. Like a goblin just dealt a sudden death blow to me somehow. Maybe my life dwindled away slowly and I didn't notice. But whatever happened, that really sucked. There's no way I'm doing all that grinding over again.

There are a lot of flaws in this game. To start with, any game that requires grinding is poorly designed. The button layout is kinda dumb. There's no difference between any of the directions you can move, so they should be combined into one button. Also, attack and pick up are superfluous because they're each only used on specific things with no overlap. So there should just be two buttons. The first button would move you to another random room, and the second button should interact with whatever is in the room. So the second button would pick stuff up, attack an enemy, or go down a ladder. And there need to be more hotkeys. And it should be harder to pass up an item without picking it up. Like maybe you could set it to pick stuff up automatically, or maybe the button to move would become the button to interact when you encounter an item. And you should be able to swap out an equipped item for a new item without needing space in your inventory to unequip the item first. And it doesn't make sense to even have an option to drop an item seeing as you can sell an item anywhere.

Did anyone else find the secret fish? What was up with that?

So realistic. When I see a hot girl on the street I know my first instinct is to run her over.

This isn't a platformer, dude, and certainly not a hop and bop. This is an overhead collecting game with no gravity or jump mechanic. I think the associated Newgrounds game genre would be Skill - Collect.

Tied for all-time 2nd place. And I have a bronze medal score...

It's a really easy game, despite what Downeycool may think. But getting a gold medal score seems to be impossible.

Wow, I'm normally good at puzzle games but even I couldn't beat this without a walkthrough. I guess the learning curve could be less steep. Certain tricks could be explained by the helper. I'm proud to say I figured out the last level on my own, though. Looks like my way was different from the walkthrough's.

You should be able to press R to restart at any time if you can see the ball isn't gonna land in the goal. And if you have to use mouse buttons, you should make them show up instantly instead of flying in from the side.

I really don't think having to repeatedly click a moving object to keep it from falling is a good premise for a game. Cat Astronauts did the same thing, and it's not appealing at all.

I keep trying to beat level 6 and the game keeps glitching. I'll click the triangle and it'll start circling around a focal point while its rotation stays constant, and it'll go off the screen ignoring all barriers.

TheNavigat, I think you misunderstood 2Dozen when he said you have to try to lose. What that means is, the game is so easy that you can't lose unless you try to lose. So you can satisfy both 2Dozen and SalzerX by making the game harder and making it scroll faster. People seem to be agreeing that the game is too easy.

TheNavigat responds:

I remember testing the game over and over and never finding such a glitch as ignoring all barriers. Nothing perfect anyway. I hope I'll have the enough time to fix that later.

I didn't try to make the game too hard because I wanted those final 2 levels to be really hard, as "legendary levels" you know. Personally, level 10 was really hard for me, for the first 3 times at least, and I couldn't even stand 10 seconds, although I'm the coder. I didn't think about making it any harder, because that was hard enough for me.

It was a good experience in the end, next time I'll make sure my game is a nightmare :P

I think this game just went full retard.

Also, this needs higher rating than an E because you say the word fucking in story mode.

Nyaarg.
