[Authentic Octopus Game (Demo)]

When you go back to the starting room and head to the right like before, you can get trapped. There needs to be an option to restart from a checkpoint.

Got stuck after getting the 2nd upgrade. Can't get through the spike trap fast enough.

You can grow to the biggest size, that will make you invulnerable :D Wait for the "spikes" (actually an eruption but whatever) to go down, then immediately go right and grow to maximum size :)

I think the controls could be improved by making it so that if you click again after your last jump, you'll immediately jump again when you hit the ground. The game is unenjoyable because the controls feel unresponsive.

Also, the left and right arrow keys seem to move you if you press them before clicking. Is that intended? Is it some kind of debug mode?

The controls are tough on flash... I made it for the mobile. Also I cannot have it that if you press again you will jump once your hit because if you press it again you will double/triple jump once unlocked.

As for the arrow keys, yeah they were for testing the jumps..... Cant believe I left that in there... and whats even more unbelievable is that your the first person to find that... Thanks!

When I press keys during battle, it activates some kind of debugger.

How do you get a x30 combo? Even killing every enemy immediately, you still get combo breakers because the enemies just don't spawn fast enough, even on the last level.

Also, you can get so overpowered that it's nearly impossible to get all 5 stars on earlier boss fights because you can't avoid killing them too fast.

If you make a quick enough u-turn you can actually switch direction on the same row or column and die by moving backwards into yourself. That's sloppy coding.

Also 666K would be 666000, not 666666.

Nice job overall, though.

Yeah, not sure how to fix that, I see the same issue in lots of Snake games though so... maybe it's not so simple. Coding's not really my forte.

You're right! I went with the less exact version with want of a shorter title... and just in case I missed this ID. :) 666,666 would've made more sense though.

The navigation is pretty confusing because at one point you have to click the bottom of the screen to go to another room, and then you have to click the top of the screen to continue in that same direction, but the game doesn't tell you that you've turned around.
