4-dimensional tesseract is kind of redundant.
@RadioactiveKitten: Read the author comments once in a while.
Nice animation
But everyone knows you get infinity when you divide by zero! The result of division is the number of times the denominator fits into the numerator, and zero can fit into anything infinite times. Flash knows what I'm talking about. I could write you a line of Actionscript that returns Infinity when dividing by zero.
Of course, if you divide zero by zero it equals zero and infinity and everything in between all at the same time. Because zero times anything will always equal zero. Unless you multiply zero by infinity, which is the same as dividing zero by zero. In Flash, it's NaN, or "Not a Number."
Oh ha ha
So they were in separate movie clips? That was the trick all along. Seems like cheating to me. Movie clips and graphic symbols have their own timelines so it's like using extra layers.
I thought maybe the trick was that you tweened on different layers then converted to keyframes and merged the layers.
All the same, it seems like a wasted effort when the audience can't see that it is in fact one layer. I thought the point of the collab was to show off effects that would have no reason to use more than one layer. Instead you just made a bunch of ordinary animations.
Have you ever seen a movie trailer? Watchmen, Avatar, practically every great blockbuster hit, they all do exactly this: throw together a bunch of "random" images that entice the audience into wanting to see it and find out what it's all about. Don't play stupid.
And for the animation, you're basically saying professional motion comics are shoddy in comparison to this. Faux actually bothers to create a semblance of animation, and in some cases real animation.
That guys an idiot
But I guess that's kind of the joke, maybe.
Where are all the hot wolf chicks who wanna kidnap me?
That is entirely the wrong attitude to have.
I just had a huge argument with a friend of mine about the rumors of the layout change that's coming to Newgrounds. It sounded like the Flash portal was gonna have some kind of scouting system like the art portal and I thought that was a terrible idea but he just said whatever the staff decides is fine with him. I mean it's just a rumor of course so hopefully it won't happen but it infuriated me so much that he was just gonna go with whatever they say and not think for himself about what's best.
And you're doing exactly the same thing. A good website administrator tries to appeal to his user base. How is Tom supposed to know what his user base wants if they just blindly follow his every whim?
The like button doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Tom's "vision." It could easily just be a way of moving with the times and integrating the site with the rest of the web. He may even agree that it looks ugly. So don't go automatically assuming that whatever he does is the right decision and we should all just stay out of it.
Very nice
Is this the first time we've seen the whole family together?
Nice job
Sort of the same idea as this, though: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /555156
