Yeeaaah, my bad. My friend Ricky apparently noticed it mid-production but didn't say anything hoping it would get a lot of "Well Actually, it's" comments on Youtube for the algorithm. It's going over MOST people's heads as it did mine.

The biting looks weird because the teeth seem to be holding the hand at a lower point from where it actually gets severed from the arm. This is similar to the chest chomp in The Thing (1982). Some fake prop arms are used for the effect and when the teeth clamp onto the arms they pull away and tear off at a different point from where they were bitten.
