I'm pretty dumbfounded by how amazing this is. I listened to it a few weeks ago and I'm listening again now.

On the second listen I noticed that I think it would be better if your consonants were softer. It sounds like you have a voice teacher who's constantly telling you to enunciate with very crisp consonants, but this is one case where it seems like you're hitting those consonants too hard, especially t's and p's. This song is a lullaby and it should sound sleepy. The t's should sound a little like d's, the p's should sound a little like b's, etc. It would sound more natural and would flow more smoothly that way.

As I continue to listen I'm noticing parts where the consonants do sound softer, so I guess you're already halfway there. The last sleep at the very end is very soft of course.

I know what you mean with the whole futuristic compound thing. Logan's Run, THX 1138, The Island. It's very robotic in parts, like there's huge machinery all around him, sort of like an Oddworld game. It's all very mysterious. I think it's a bit more euphoric than frantic or suspenseful though. Like you can just forget about being chased and marvel at the new places you've discovered.

Is anyone else annoyed by that tapping sound? It must be one of the instruments or something. It first shows up at 0:42 and then stops at 0:55 but keeps coming back later. I presume it's intentional but it sort of sounds unintentional. Anyway, I wish there was a version without it.

This was a long time ago, and not all musicians are poets or anyhting...I am still pretty sure they ryhme though..both end in o and have 2 sylables..
