This was uploaded and frontpaged in November, do you know why it's not on the list for monthly voting?

Who did the vocals?

ET-4L responds:

Thanks for the 4-star review! Vocals are random vocals from Dropgun.

This might be your best song

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you 🙏🏽 I hope the full album shapes up this way!

Who did the vocals?

Bosa responds:

I think I found her page on Facebook. Dang I can't remember, man, I'm sorry.

Do you mind if I use this in a free / ad-free app? That doesn't count as commercial purposes, right?

Edit: Why were people saying there's no melody? The melody starts at 0:48 and goes all the way to the end

Kassich responds:

go for it! I'd love to see the app when you are done with it!

But aren't you a girl? Who's the vocalist?

Phyrnna responds:

Not me xD. Check the video for credits on that.

So what is Elvarim?

SteveSyz responds:

Hi!

It's just a fantasy name I made up haha :P

Thanks for listening!

That percussion in the first part is a little too relentless and distracting, and I don't think any actual 8-bit game tunes have any of that drum/maraca/shaker egg/whatever it is.

BenTibbetts responds:

OK, thank you for listening.

Either title theme or RPG overworld. Very high quality. Like Nobuo Uematsu meets Hans Zimmer.

samulis responds:

Thanks man, I really wanted to draw from both the film and the game score world in the style I chose for this.

Majestic

I'm pretty dumbfounded by how amazing this is. I listened to it a few weeks ago and I'm listening again now.

On the second listen I noticed that I think it would be better if your consonants were softer. It sounds like you have a voice teacher who's constantly telling you to enunciate with very crisp consonants, but this is one case where it seems like you're hitting those consonants too hard, especially t's and p's. This song is a lullaby and it should sound sleepy. The t's should sound a little like d's, the p's should sound a little like b's, etc. It would sound more natural and would flow more smoothly that way.

As I continue to listen I'm noticing parts where the consonants do sound softer, so I guess you're already halfway there. The last sleep at the very end is very soft of course.

VGSongbird responds:

Lol the first half of my song the pop filter fell off, so I had to make shift one mid song. It was crazy XD

Nyaarg.
