Why is this listed as a comedy? It's super sad.

And it doesn't really explain how Slenderman became a tentacled monster.

This Deepak Chopra-style pseudoscience tends to be bother me. This was the most annoying thing I forced myself to watch as part of my monthly voting ritual.

I guess this episode had enough real science in it to make it not so bad. But why'd you create a patchwoman to help you talk about stuff and then make her mute?

What's the joke? Why can't they say John?

The whole context of this joke lies in the comments section of YT. The Game Grumps were originally Arin (Egoraptor) and Jon (JonTron), but after a year, Jon decided to leave Game Grumps and devote more time to his original channel. As soon as this was announced, Danny (from Ninja Sex Party) became the new co-host, and many people were pissed, which is understandable. However, as time went on, Danny was accepted into the fanbase and is now very much loved.

With this in mind, they didn't mention Jon for more than a year, and I believe Arin stated it was because they wanted to be able to give Jon his space to be individual again and not add fuel to the fire in the case of the fans. When they DID mention Jon again, many people freaked out, but most thought it was a nice gesture. They did it a second time, and the same thing happened. I just over-exaggerated it...a lot XD

I think there's some disparity between the era of film noir and the era of greasers.

A disparity between the eras or as a genre? Greaser subculture originated during the same time (Film Noir - 1940's to late 1950's and Greasers in the 1950's). It's a dark world for both and there is crime and an urban setting.
