This game has everything wrong with it. At least let us use WASD controls.

I'd like to point out that martyman's suggestions would remove all originality from this game. Shurikens don't come back at you, so they're effectively the same as in any other shooting game. Being able to catch the boomerangs would also defeat the purpose and destroy the mechanic. The idea is that you can only throw boomerangs in one direction so to get the baddies approaching from behind you need to have the boomerang reverse direction and pass by you. It doesn't need to make sense from a real-life perspective. It's a video game, boomerangs don't really move like that, and ninjas aren't real. The difficulty makes the game.

Too much random clicking. I get that you're supposed to piece the story together and sort of figure out what the false memories are, but there really aren't enough clues.

Could use an ending. Maybe after you get everything, you could return to the last frame and click one of the dialogue bubbles, since the radio clearly does work to bring back memories.

Since the graphics that you're fading aren't animated, you might be able to use the cacheAsBitmap property to ensure that you don't see through the darkness during fade transitions.

If it's New Years' Eve, why is everyone acting like it's Christmas? And why is that cat so much smaller than the owls?

Maniulo responds:

1. In my country New Year is celebrated like Christmas in the US, with the tree, presents, etc.
2. Well, either the owls or the cat are magical!

Final score: 5182

I'm guessing this game would have a much better score if it wasn't on the front page. I mean, it's fast-paced, it's 3D, there's a cool running animation, and it's about a unicorn killing sharks with rainbows.

Although I'm not really sure it is 3D. It may be just the same pre-rendered cityscape videos repeated and stitched together. The sharks and the unicorn are definitely not 3D because they're only seen from one perspective.

The glitchiness reminds me of the scene in Holy Grail when Lancelot is running up to the castle.

Should be camera-position hotkeys, especially one to reset the camera above the player, or at a 3/4 view. Camera dragging is pretty awkward, especially when you can sometimes make a wrong move in the game when you were just trying to move the camera.

antarsoft responds:

I thought about having a static camera view but it was a dynamic solution
That's why I chose the moving camera, to give the more viewpoint freedom.
But I'll take your idea into consideration and try to put a reset camera hotkey.

Thanks for the feedback !

Medium 3 does not take the order of operations into account.

Seems to run at about half-speed. I think it must be poorly coded. Gotta code for efficiency.

This is actually a new genre of game. Cookie Clicker and Clicker Heroes are insanely popular. It's stupid and I hate it.

I also don't know what "sword recharge" means. I suspect it might just be the rate at which your energy fills up which would mean it's for both the sword and the crossbow.

It's a well-tuned game. Very nicely balanced.

F1 isn't a good key to use. Windows keeps wanting to react to it by opening up a help window.

Could use a mute button.

I didn't understand a lot of the high-schooler texting Internet meme speak.

Why are you the only kid in the front row?

Okay, I got no problem with challenging control schemes. Maverick is a perfect example. But introduce things one at a time! You got three difficult gimmicks: shooting to move, shooting backwards, and controlling multiple units at once. Introduce them one after another, not all at once! And maybe have something happen if you win.

Also, it took me so long to figure out that the numbers that appear when you're hit are your remaining health, not how much damage something dealt.

And why is it called Quadratic Wars?

Nyaarg.
