For some reason when I got the achievements for killing a beast zombie and destroying 50 crates, it only registered the achievements after I started the level again.

The Kickstarter link window in the game says congratulations for completing the game even if you click it before you beat it.

Also, why no credits? I like the voice actor.

A little too slow-paced. And why is the select level button always inactive in the title screen?

I have no idea how to beat the last level.

You went through a lot of effort giving us a lot of ways to select units like in classic RTS's, but you didn't think to include a hotkey that selects ALL units.

I found it annoying looking through my units trying to find one that still needs attack upgraded. It would be nice if there was some shortcut that allowed for that.

Even though the magic mine allows for potentially unlimited upgrade stars, the bank allows to to lose all your stars. So suppose you get all the stars you possibly can and use them all up with the bank before building the magic mine. You wouldn't be able to progress further in the game.

Overall it's a good game, but if people just keep making games that follow Kingdom Rush they'll never be able to go beyond Kingdom Rush and make something truly great. If people want to play a game they've played before they'll just play that. No need for new games.

Thanks for all your suggestions. We will try to integrate them into the game:)

It would make sense for it to respond to any key, not just enter. And mouse clicks, too.

And it should also let you skip the scrolling.

What's the point in making us copy text and feed it into a binary translator? That's not a puzzle. That's just tedious work. But at least you let us copy that. The morse code was even more tedious. And then there was the code to room 2 that took forever. I mean, there's no point in decoding such long messages. Once we get the code, we've solved the puzzle.

Solved all three codes in the first room, but then got stuck on the sequence of 2-letter chunks and the sequence of 5-letter chunks.

Nice short game. Took me about 5 minutes. Great engine, feels like it could last much longer. But you still get respect for not overstaying your welcome. I'll be looking forward to more games from you.

Great pixel art as well, but it looks weird when what appear to be background shadows show up in front of your character. It's like your character turns see-through.

Great game. Though generally it's bad form to have any gameplay mechanics that involve waiting or repetition. Once you get through the corridor where you have to wait between each step, you shouldn't have to do that over again. And once you've gotten through the fire, the fire should remain extinguished.

Also, the text buttons behave pretty strangely. Sometimes it's tough to get them to respond. For example, they won't be clickable if they appear under your mouse.

The name vector medal won't unlock on NG for me. Beyond that, I haven't gotten the resident, dweller, snake charmer, or astral master medals. Resident and dweller sound related. There are two snakes the snake charmer medal could refer to. I guess astral master could be one of those medals where you get it by unlocking all other medals. Do you suppose you could release a secret medal guide for people who don't mind spoilers?

Vilehead responds:

Hmmm sure but I don't know how =\ I mean if i leave it in the open - people will get tempted and check it out anyway. Any ideas how to enable such guide but without spoiling the rest?

Figured out every ending on my own except solace. That one is really complicated and the game doesn't give you anything close to an indication of how to get it. It's like trying to figure out an old cheat code on the NES.

The champion medal only counts for soldiers, not monks or miners.

Make sure you overwork your miners. If I had known that sooner, I might've been able to get the 35 day medal.

Overall, this game feels like a waste of time. Too much needless clicking, not enough hotkeys or auto-actions. It's all about clicking retreat at just the right time, and finding that you're always clicking a split second too late.

How is this an escape? And why would you want to escape from a land of fruit?

Unless maybe this isn't the usual escape game. Maybe you're escaping to the land of fruit. Like how a vacation house is sometimes called an escape.

I didn't understand the number puzzle at all, so I got it by just trying every number. And the walkthrough doesn't really give any explanation, but when I watched that part after I already beat the game, I figured it out. Pretty clever. The colors are misleading, of course. Not many people will get it.
